CHURCH DIRECTORY

TODAY is the last Sunday to give your personal information for the directory with any changes, additions, deletions to Barb Duncan. You may e-mail her at bcduncan@sc.rr.com, by January 31st - you can hand her a written update if you’re not a computer person. Rita Nein will be available to take pictures of new folks or any that you feel need redoing TODAY. Ministry Leaders, please also review the information on your ministry for errors and/or updates. If everything is correct, you do not need to send any updates.

BUDGET

2012 BUDGET has been finalized, with all Ministries funded per their requests. Weekly contribution target: $4,350 (same as last year). Everything is fine financially … although the contribution trend did soften quite a bit over last six months of 2011. Clearly impacted by the economy. Obviously, do what you can each “contribution period” (weekly, monthly, etc.). Remember expenses exist whether you are in attendance or not. Surplus funds, if any, will be devoted to either mortgage reduction or, assistant minister fund.

The Lawn Maintenance Sign-Up Sheet has been posted on the bulletin board in the Member’s Center. If you would like to help, please sign up in teams of two for the month best suited for you. Any questions, see Randy Gaskins (241-0157).

Our youth group will be traveling to Gatlingburg, TN on February 17-19 for the 2012 Winterfest; keep them in your prayers.

Wednesday night class study for the teens is a video series with Francis Chan called Surrender. So far they have covered “Surrender Your Stuff”, “Surrender your Status” and “Surrender your Sin”. This week will begin the fourth section called “Surrender your Self”.

Pajama Party on Saturday, February 11^th (this is a change of date) for all K-5 families! The fun will begin at 5:00. Everyone can come dressed in their favorite pajamas. We will enjoy dinner together and then the fun will begin with various activities!!! Please make plans to attend; the sign-up sheet is on the board in the Member’s Center. We look forward to starting off 2012 with a fun-filled experience!! If you have questions, contact Nick or Lindsey Pritchard (215-0528).

PARENT’S NIGHT OUT

Host Signup For Parent’s Night Out is posted on the Member’s Bulletin Board. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve by giving parents “timeout” to chill without the kids! VISITOR’S CENTER
