Fasting in September: Each Tuesday this month, skip a meal, snack or try a 24 hour liquid fast from 6pm Monday to 6pm Tuesday.

Welcome To The JAM Ministry

Dear Friend,

Welcome to the JAM Ministry. JAM is an acronym for Jesus And Me...

This is a ministry for children in Kindergarten thru 5th grade. The youth leaders here are Shane and Melissa Boyd.

Children in this ministry are involved in activites such as

Breakfast with Santa
Trunk or Treat
Sunday night bible lesson activities
Vacation Bible School
ERLTC
Easter Egg hunt
Play dates (where parents go out for a date and children stay at church)
Community service projects (like washing cars and helping in soup kitchens)
Visiting retirement homes and singing songs
Memorizing bible verses
Church lock-ins (they watch movies, eat snacks and play games all night)
And much more....

We would love to have your child join us this Sunday. We hope to see you real soon.

Shane and Melissa head up the JAM Ministry. Shane and Melissa have been members of the Grand Strand Church of Christ for 7 years. They have been married for 7 years and have 2 great children, Aspen and Matthew. Shane's also a Deacon at the church and Melissa has worked with young children for over 10 years. She's a real asset to our church...and to Shane.
